This famous arioso is from the cantata "Ich steh mit einem Fuss am Grabe, BWV 156. It was composed for oboe.
However, the same melody also appears in the Harpsichord Concerto in f minor, BWV 1056. In this concerto composed as the middle movement "Largo" in A-flat major.
